Pocket Mountains Walking Guides
We published our first books back in 2003 – nominated for a British Book Design Award and a Scottish Thistle Award, that series of guides by Nick Williams to the Scottish mountains has now sold in excess of 150,000 copies. We’ve since published cycling, easy walking, wildlife and running guides to various parts of Scotland, England and Wales.
Our aim is to make inspirational and accessible guides that appeal to all ages and abilities – and which take folk to places they’ve never been to before to do things they might not otherwise have done – and have fun while they’re at it.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy publishing them!
My son & I used your ‘The Lake District’ book for a series of hikes from Borrowdale to explore Wainwright’s Land! Just beautiful x
